In the Spring semester, we gathered a group of 9 faculty members from DC area universities who re-designed their existing graduate course to connect scholarly training with preparing graduate students for public engagement and non-academic intellectual work. The group’s work culminated in a poster session at Georgetown’s Annual Teaching, Learning & Innovation Summer Institute in May 2016, where the group members presented their re-designed courses.
